Molí dels Capellans "Atrepat"
"Atrepat" is a red wine of 'trepat' variety made by the winery Molí dels Capellans in Montblanc, with D.O. Conca de Barberà.
They transmit to us, and we check pleasantly after a few drinks, that it's a fresh and cheerful wine with red and floral fruit aromas. We had that, plus the name.
We were faced with the challenge of transmitting the wordplay between the grape itself and the term 'atrapar' (to Trap in english), and the youthful and vital personality of the wine.
It was then when came to our minds to develop the Greek myth of Theseus, Ariadna and the Minotaur; where Theseus, in search of his beloved (which the animal had retained in his labyrinth) enters with a thread as a trail to find the the exit.
But neither one nor the other, in our alternative end, Theseus and the Minotaur end up trapped but by the wine, and become buddies.
